WAM Abu Dhabi, Apr 08th, 2013 (WAM)–Jaheziya – a Tawazun subsidiary which provides technical, vocational and professional training for intra-agency, interagency and multi-agency operations in the fields of safety, security and disaster management – hosted a graduation ceremony today at its facilities in Mussafah for a group of 16 trainees from Al Hosn Gas Company and GASCO, who have completed the Professional Fire-Fighter Program based on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
The graduation ceremony was attended by senior officials from Tawazun, Al Hosn, GASCO and ADNOC, as well as management and staff of Jaheziya.
Congratulating the graduates, Jaheziya’s General Manager Khaleefa Al Hemairi said the 12 week program offered a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills and it was delivered jointly by a team of instructors from Jaheziya and its North American Training Provider. These instructors possess a comprehensive knowledge and experience in the fields of firefighting and emergency response.
“We are very glad to have successfully delivered a training course that would help consolidate our lead in multi-agency training for emergency, crisis and disaster management. We look forward to furthering cooperation with Al Hosn Gas Company, GASCO and other government and private entities in the UAE as a part of our effort to deliver training that will help build, sustain and enhance the UAE’s capacity to protect communities, assets and vital infrastructure”, added Al Hemairi.
The Graduates were awarded a certificate of achievement by Tawazun.
