Tawazun will co-sponsor the 19th open championship of the Armed Forces Club due to be staged under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
“We are pleased to participate in sponsoring this grand annual event…we are also delighted to see such a big participation in the officers’ Olympics from inside and outside the UAE,” Tawazun’s CEO Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri said, adding that it would be held under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Education Council.
He said school students would take part in the games which motivate them into innovation and interaction with the latest technology.
He lauded efforts exerted by Lt General Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, head of the organizing committee and chairman of the Officers’ Club, in staging the championship and ensuring its success.
He noted that Tawazun has supported this important event for years in line with its interest to develop Emirati talents and capacities.
